The Mathnasium in Hillsborough is a very kid-friendly and well organized place. My 10 years old daughter has been loving them since the first day, she grew very fond of the tutors and is always excited to go. They provide very thorough feed-back, not only in the form of standardized assessments but also of qualitative, formative, and personalized feed-back. We love the staff there... and on top of all, the little rewards kids get for completing their math sheets is a nice added perk!

My child’s experience at Mathnasium has been fantastic! Not only gave her grades consistently improved, but she truly loves math because it finally “makes sense”. The instructors offer a safe environment where the students have fun while building a strong foundation in skills and topics which mirror exactly what my child is learning in her math class at school. I highly recommend Mathnasium!

Mathnasium was an enormous help to our son, and it was in large part due to Charles's leadership, encouragement and passion for learning math in a way that makes sense for the student. We felt welcome right away as Charles patiently answered all our questions and helped us understand the process and purpose of Mathnasium's pedagogy. My kids have always complained about all other types of supplemental education, but when it comes to Mathnasium they have loved every bit of it and show enjoyment when having to go to class. The learning curve is shown clearly. My children are always prepared and have knowledge on the topic which is being taught prior to it being taught in school. Can’t complain what so ever, it is really good in my opinion and is shown by my children grades and interest.

My children love going to mathnasium. They look forward to go and come back with smiles on their faces. They are getting really good at understanding math not just solving it. My son worked had private lessons with Charles to help prepare him for an exam. Charles was a pleasure to work with and my son was engaged. My son ended up doing very well on the exam and it was worth every penny. We would recommend Mathnasium to any one of our friends and plan on continuing to work with them.

Mr. Charles is wonderful and very accommodating! My daughter was struggling with her honors Math Analysis class during Covid and Mr. Charles fit her in and has helped her from failing the first 2 marking periods to an 89 average so far! She has really enjoyed working with him as am I. He has communicated with me my email several times regarding her progress. If you choose Mathnasium and your child is looking and wanting the help you will not be disappointed!

The owner is passionate about math and helped me pinpoint my sons weaknesses and he developed a plan to help him. It helped me understand my sons struggles and what’s needed at home as well. It’s nice having someone dedicated to your child that you can talk to. And my son seems to enjoy going there which is a bit of a shock!

My children both in 7 th. and 4 th. grade started feeling a lot more confident about math since they started attending classes at Mathnasium. The staff, is very friendly, cooperative, and understanding. They try their best to listen to your concerns and accommodate your requests. We are glad we enrolled our kids in Mathnasium.

Mathnasium of Hillsborough is great. My son has been attending since he was in kindergarten and now he’s finishing 2nd grade. He gets excited to attend Mathnasium and shows so much interest in math after he started mathnasium. The teachers are extremely friendly and makes learning fun for this age group. I highly recommend this center.

Mr. Fung is always thorough in his review of where the student is at when first evaluating their level. He is extremely knowledgeable and staffs his math lab with very qualified instructors. My son has always enjoyed working with him and his staff. He knows how to make the experience of improving ones skill in mathematics fun, engaging and motivating!

Both my children have been attending sessions at the center for a number of years. We chose Mathnasium because they focus on the building blocks of math and not just memorizing like some other math center providers.
We have seen how our children have improved with their confidence in math, especially our daughter. She was an average math student, but is now in an accelerated class in 6th grade.
Mathnasium has also helped our children to get a jump on math concepts, prior to being introduced in school. Although the focus is always foundational, the concepts do eventually intersect with school curriculum.
The instructors for the most part are very good. We particularly appreciate the care that Mr. Charles and Mr. Ben have shown towards our children’s development over the years.

The team is very customer oriented. They are flexible to changes. Due to COVID, my daughter's schedule changes intermittently and is not able to attend the already scheduled time slots. Charles and Ben were happy to help me reschedule at the last minute - very kind of them to do that. I also appreciate the patience from the tutors as my daughter is a very shy and quiet person. Thank you!

The Mathnasium program started with a comprehensive evaluation of my child's current level of achievement, and developed a plan specific to his needs. The staff are engaging, supportive and knowledgeable.
We started the program a little over a month ago, and recently received a progress report, which is particularly helpful. Highly recommend for anyone seeking to improve their child's math skills.

Mathnasium has been such a great example for all 3 of my kids! We had tried other programs in the past and the kids hated it and it was an argument everytime... But not with Mathnasium! They all enjoy learning math now and I can see their confidence growing in their math skills. It's been a real turn around for all of them!

Mr. Charles and his staff are amazing. They amount of time and patience they put into helping students understanding is unbelievable. The philosophy of teaching a student why they solve a problem a certain helps to build a foundation that each student can build his or her own path on. It also is wonderful that they allow students to bring up areas that they are having trouble with in school. After several other tutoring programs, I have found that this is the perfect fit for my son. I can’t thank Mr. Charles and his staff enough for the difference they have made in my son and the confidence they are helping him to build as a student.

Math homework used to be a real struggle in my house. My daughter would stress about homework and tests. Her grades were falling short of her potential and it was beginning to affect her self-esteem. Mathnasium has increased her confidence to the point where there are no more tears and her grades have gone from Cs and Ds to As and Bs. Charles and his staff in Hillsborough are just fantastic. I recommend Mathnasium to anyone whose child is struggling with math.

The tutoring my daughter had in such a short time was so worth it all. I loved hearing my daughter come home and letting me know what she learned. It’s only a shame that I had to leave for things I had to handle at home. I would recommend all kids taking advantage if they can with tutoring here. It’s amazing and the staf is so pleasant.

My daughter likes the teachers and the environment. I like the practice that she gets. She is learning to ask questions but still hesitates to ask if she does not understand something and either does something wrong in her worksheets or leaves the question blank, so I wish the teachers would take some time to probe students proactively and teach some more.

Mathnasium of Hillsborough has helped my granddaughter tremendously, where she was shy and afraid to answer questions in school and cried every time there was a math problem which was her weakest subject. My daughter has had some struggles with math prior to coming to Mathnasium and had become hesitant to engage in math work. After trying other programs we stumbled onto Mathnasium. From the first lesson she enjoyed going to Mathnasium lessons and in a few short months has gained much more confidence around trying math work. We are also seeing her have a better understanding of the math concepts. Everyone at the Hillsborough center has been welcoming to not only My daughter but our family. We were also pleased to find that the program was highly recommended by my daughter’s math instructor! We are pleased with our choice to send our daughter to the Hillsborough Mathnasium program and look forward to her continued progress in the program.

They are very attentive to your child from the start in efforts to discern where to begin with your child. It is a very well run and organized classroom type environment for kids, set up in such a way that is conducive to study and learning. They keep track of your childs progression and report this back to the parent at intervals. It is a very pleasant and motivating environment that my son enjoys attending each and every time.
