Big Ridge Wins Mathnasium Mini-Grant!

This month, Mathnasium of Hixson is happy to present our monthly Mathnasium Mini-Grant to fourth grade teacher Lindsay Menne from Big Ridge Elementary. She plans to use these funds to purchase supplies for the school's entry in the Science Olympiad. In the words of Ms. Menee, "students are just beginning to build their knowledge base for future science, technology, engineering and math courses that will help prepare them for their future career. The Olympiad program is an opportunity for students to practice cooperation and teamwork, practice toward a clearly identified objective, and to improve their knowledge in STEM."

We're excited to support this exciting event as our local students apply what they are learning in their math and science classes to engaging problem-solving challenges!
