Rob

Owner and Center Director
Rob Vanderhyde has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and and MBA from New York University. Rob has always had a passion for Math and mentorship and couldn’t pass up to the opportunity to run a business like Mathnasium! His goal for the center is to provide an educational experience and foundation for kids to build their confidence and achieve their goals. Prior to Mathnasium, Rob spent 10 years as an executive at the Walt Disney Company in LA and Toronto. Rob is a New York native but has a passion for travel and has visited over 80 countries.

Christine

Assistant Center Director
Christine graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California and has earned her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish. Christine found her love of math through reading her older brother’s textbooks as a child and wants to spread that love through teaching. She has tutored since high school and hopes to become a professor one day. Her favorite subject is Calculus because of how it is hidden in many different science fields. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, video games and sailing.

Andy

Instructor
Andy attended Fountain Valley High School and is currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics at Cal Poly Pomona. His goal is to continue teaching and helping others by becoming a High School Math Teacher. His hobbies outside of school and work include playing games, table tennis and working out.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
