Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

  Center Director

Ms. Chasity Bennett

Huntsville Mathnasium Center Director

Ms. Bennett leads the Huntsville Mathnasium and a great team of instructors with students from Pre-K to 12th grade.  Ms. Bennett is a degreed Mathematician with a "depth and breadth" of knowledge in a range of math fields.  Ms. Bennett embodies life-long learner. She will lead your child based on their math assessment and welcomes you when you enter the door. She will use the math assessment as the roadmap to your child's math success.

FOUNDATION.  We strive to build a foundation of understanding in mathematics and not just "cram" for the next test. In doing so, we build math skills that last and real math confidence.

CONFIDENCE. Confidence for many students is the biggest hurdle. When the student begins to believe they can do well at math, everything changes. They begin to think through the math on their own and excel independently.

CRITICAL THINKING. Math builds critical thinking skills, but not if it's taught through rote memorization and handing kids the answers! We take the time to teach your child to ask the powerful "why" question for themselves.

SCHOLARSHIP. The math on scholarships makes sense. College is expensive and rigorous! We train students with the end in mind. A strong math foundation leads to confidence, critical thinking, and success in high school, college, and beyond. Additionally, ACT scores > 30 = College Scholarships. We offer ACT specific training for your child and prepare them to excel in math at every level.

Chasity's experience in both the private and public sectors brings a wealth of knowledge in education strategies and techniques.

Ms. Bennett encourages the educational growth of each child via the Socratic Method - helping the student to find the answer for themselves by questioning them, instead of telling them. That way, when the student encounters the same problem later, they can find the answer for themselves. In other words, we teach the student to fish... we don't just give them the fish. Through this and many other ways, we avoid "rote memorization" and maintain a POSITIVE  learning atmosphere!
