Brandon's team is phenomenal! Thanks to the Mathnasium program and Brandon's active management of the boys' progress, all three boys have significantly improved their math literacy. We love that we can go 3 times a week. This provided structure when schools were closed in the spring and during the intermittent quarantines this fall.
Our oldest son was struggling this semester with slope line intercept and further lost with functions. He studied with Millie (virtually) several days this past week and today received an A on his math final!! Thank you Millie!!
Our boys also love learning with Isaiah, Emily, Austin, Sarah, Alex, and Shubhra.

Mathnasium has been a safe haven to send my daughter for math help. My daughter enjoys going and getting that one-on-one attention, but encouragement that she needs to build skills for the present and into the future. Mathnasium has taken a lot of the edge off of doing math and the fear of doing math not only with my daughter, but in my daughter not just sitting there waiting for someone to do the work for her, she has confidence to try the work herself knowing she can do it.

Brandon has gone above and beyond to address all of our needs during the pandemic - from refunding money, getting an online class schedule and meeting us where we were. He is attentive and helpful. His communication about what is going on and what will happen next has been stellar. He’s been a great partner and I appreciate his leadership in such a huge way. He’s helped my 12 year old stay on track through out this summer, which has been so helpful.

My son hated math because he didn't understand it the way they were teaching it in school. He struggled with it and he became frustrated. Now that he's been at Mathnasium he's improved greatly, he now understands it and does not avoid math problems. He now takes it on with a new boldness!

Mathnasium has been a lifesaver in helping my daughter with her math. My daughter struggles with comprehension and retaining information and Mathnasium has helped build her confidence and feel better about herself in math and other subjects. My daughter loves going in and working with the instructors and always looks forward to going to Mathnasium. I cannot express how much Mathnasium has helped our family and will continue to go to Mathnasium to help build the skills in math and apply the skills in other areas as well.

Where do I begin? Mathnasium Hyde Park is uniquely tailored to my child's needs, as determined using assessment tools and my input from having seen her other test/homework scores. I was given a personal consultation with my daughter. Initially, she was embarrassed to be "that child" who needed additional help in math. However, with constant contact from the center, encouragement by Brandon and his staff, and opportunities to build her math confidence - my daughter began to anticipate and enjoy spending time at Mathnasium. We intend to keep her with Mathnasium beyond getting her up to speed in her current year of schooling, we intend to keep her in Mathnasium through high school too! Great team, operating on great standards! Thanks Mathnasium!

We just started a few weeks ago, but my daughter is enthusiastic about the work she's been doing with Mathnasium. I'm glad we are able to use this time of distance learning to solidify the concepts she's learned in school - hopefully it will give her a nice jump-start once the schools resume more intensive instruction.

Great program and staff! Brandon has assembled a great team and along with his entire team, they have a vested interest in the success of our children. This program helps to build confidence, bridge gains from school and sharpen and improve Math skills. Highly recommend this if you have a child or children struggling in Math and most of all who suggest they “hate” math. Math is part of every day life ... kids only hate if if they are struggling and don’t have the support at school to succeed!

We have loved our experience at Mathnasium so far! I like that they work on the foundations of math to build up a child's confidence in their math skills, which is one of the reasons we chose it. Even more impressive, the owner knows the names of every child that walks through the door. My daughter is excited to go and I'm already seeing improvements after less than a month in her math skills and confidence.

Brandon and his team were amazing to work with and such a tremendous help to my junior in high school struggling with geometry and trig. Brandon was so accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure a tutor was available when my son was available. I highly recommend the Hyde Park Mathnasuim if your child is struggling in Math.

Our 3 sons have been attending Mathnasium for 1 1/2 years now. Brandon's team coaches to their strengths and interests, while ensuring they have the numerical literacy skills to advance in math. Extrinsic rewards are offered through a points system for attendance and completing assignments. Our youngest just made a 110% on his math test and was asked to move into advanced math. He was thrilled!!
Compared to the individual tutoring option, our family went through 3 tutors who could only meet with our sons at limited times, only to have each tutor sequentially quit. In contrast - for comparable cost - our sons can attend Mathnasium multiple days a week, AND at various hours that fit our schedule. Also Brandon's team has both consistent teachers and new teachers. Hence students are able to learn from a variety of individuals, which will serve them well in high school and college.

Mathnasium has really helped my daughter build her confidence in math. She still struggles, but nothing like it has been before Mathnasium. My daughter enjoys going and is proud of the work she brings home. Mathnasium helps with her school work and it takes a load and stress relief off myself the parent and I can see the progress she has made in her school work and grades.

Huge confidence builder! My daughters took the Geometry Readiness program at Mathnasium this summer and it has allowed them to actively participate in their school Geometry class beginning on day 1 which has really boosted their confidence and enjoyment in Math. They looked forward to going to Mathnasium in the summer (hard to believe!) and even after being at school all day. They also really like the tutors. I can't speak for any other Mathnasiums but Brandon, the owner of Mathnasium in Hyde Park, takes a personal interest in each student and even makes sure that he has favorite rewards for each student (like a certain type of candy for of my daughters).

My kids LOVE going to mathnasium!!!!! I have one child who loves math. Mathnasium is his happy place. He loves going and nurturing his passion for learning about math in a way that I simply can’t do at home.
I have one child who struggles with math. He did not pass the math portion of the Walnut High School entrance exam the first time he took it. Brandon and his staff worked diligently with him and gave him the confidence and skills he needed to pass it the second time.
I highly recommend mathnasium for those advanced in math, for those struggling and for those in between.

Brandon was very good at communicating the plan for my son's tutoring and in keeping me/us apprised along the way. He was flexible and understanding of the need to change some sessions. The tutoring itself was very helpful, with a significant increase in my son's test scores.

Our 3 boys math self-efficacy and academic stamina have increased. And math has become part of our daily conversations! This has been the BEST part!! For instance, just now in our kitchen...
Dad: "I cooked that for 77 minutes"
George (3rd grader - quick and spontaneous response - "That's an hour and a 1/4"
He's right!! And they all do this sort of quick math in their heads and are usually right. Their number sense and efficiency with working problems is fantastic. This will serve them well when the mathmatical processes become more complex. We could not be more pleased with the work Brandon and his team have done to support our boys. We know we will look back and find their time at Mathnasium integral to their academic success, and they are just in elementary/middle school!!

We love Mathnasium! We have already referred several families to Brandon Studney. I spoke with one of the families this past week and their daughter made a perfect score on her cumulative end-of-semester math test! Our boys as well have increased their math self-efficacy. Brandon is always willing to tailor the math work to what our boys are covering in their classes. Isaiah has even incorporated some roller coaster conversations for our middle son to further his engagement with the material. We could not be more pleased with this program!

Excellent way of teaching maths.
My son enjoys maths as if it is a game. The staff at mathemesium Hyde park are great and nurture the art of maths such that it becomes fun loving and not stressful to the child. The icing on the cake is Mr Brandon (owner and manager) who keeps us updated about all the progress our son is doing. It’s easy to develop aversion towards maths and extremely difficult to develop methods of teaching such that the kid starts loving it.
Highly recommend the Hyde park matheneisum.

Mathnasium of Hyde Park is great place for my children! I highly recommend Mathnasium of Hyde Park to anyone. As soon as you walk through the door their staff is very welcoming. It feels just like family. Our children are very comfortable there. They can't wait to come to Mathnasium. My kids scores and grades have improved dramatically since they have come to Mathnasium.
