Samantha Fisher

Instructor

Sam is from Virginia and graduated from BYU-Idaho where she studied Math Education. She has worked at Mathnasium for 5 years (plus a summer at Mathnasium in Virginia). Sam enjoys math and loves helping others understand math concepts better. In addition to math, she enjoys cross stitching, snuggling with her cat, and impressing others with card tricks.

David Hansen

Instructor

David is from Rexburg ID, and is a junior at BYU-I. He is a data science major and enjoys studying mathematics. He has taken Calculus through differential equations (Calc 3) and has done several statistics courses. He enjoys helping others understand and value math, he was TA for calculus classes at BYU-I and realized that he loved to help others see how useful math can be. He is a big fan of skiing, complicated board games and statistics.

Sam Schaerrer

Instructor

Sam is from Idaho Falls, born and raised. He has always excelled at math and aced AP Calculus, College Algebra, and Trigonometry. Sam enjoys making math fun, and creating a positive learning environment while helping others understand math concepts. In his free time, he enjoys strategy games, painting, and playing guitar, ukulele, and bagpipes.

Grace Anderson

Lead Instructor

Grace is from Layton, Utah and is currently a senior at BYU-Idaho. She is studying elementary education with a minor in math education. Grace has worked at Mathnasium for one year and she is passionate about education and helping kids have their "ah-ha" moments. She loves being with her friends and family, playing board games, and being outside.

Ellie Watts

Instructor

Ellie is from Rigby, Idaho. She has always had a talent for numbers, and enjoys Calculus and even got a 5 on her AP Statistics exam, which is the highest score possible. She loves to see the smile on students' faces when they begin to understand math. In her free time, Ellie loves clogging, playing piano, hiking and watching movies.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
