Jadelyn San Juan, Center Director
Jadelyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Cruz. From an early age she has been interested in science and mathematics. Mastery of foundations gave her the confidence to visualize abstract and difficult concepts. Jadelyn's interest in math comes from the perpetual cycle of knowledge, confidence, application, and retention.
As a student, Jadelyn has found problem solving to be an enjoyable challenge. Throughout her experience as a Mathnasium instructor, she helps students discover their potential in understanding difficult math concepts. For her, teaching math to struggling students is a welcomed challenge and a rewarding experience. She hopes to inspire and motivate, and create successful students.
Angie Yuan, Owner/Managing Director
Angie started her career in Silicon Valley for Internet/Software companies and consulted for multiple startups in marketing, operations and funding strategies. Angie has been an active member in multiple start-up communities and a dedicated volunteer for various professional organizations. Angie holds an MBA degree in Management Information Systems from State University of New York at Albany with full scholarship.
In early 2013, Angie discovered Mathnasium as a brilliant way to realize her passion for education and love for mathematics while helping kids succeed at school. She and the Mathnasium team of San Mateo-Laurelwood are committed to helping students grow their interest, skills, and confidence in Math and are very proud to bring the Mathnasium Method to San Mateo County.
