In-center reopening!

May 14, 2020 | Benton Bryant

We are re-opening for in-center tutoring on Monday May 18!!

For the first few weeks, we will be requiring student visits to be scheduled in advance so that we can avoid having too many people in the center. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance through the following link: https://book.appointment-plus.com/b8hn4sve/

You will have to open an account the first time you use it.

In addition to being appointment only at this time, we are also implementing the following precautions:

1. Please do not send your child if they are sick, currently have, or have had a fever in the past 24 hours.
2. Students will be admitted only during their scheduled session.
3. Parents should drop off and pick up students rather than waiting in-center. Please drop off and pick up promptly.
4. All persons entering the center (including staff, students, and visitors) will have their temperature taken and asked about symptoms and contact with known COVID patients.
5. Students will sanitize their hands when entering and leaving the center.
6. Instructors will sanitize hands at least every 30 minutes.
7. The Center Director will check students in and out.
8. Students will be seated 6 or more feet apart (except siblings).
9. Students will use the same pencil and eraser each time, and these will be kept in their binders.
10. Only instructors will remove items from the rewards cabinet.
11. Tables and chairs will be sanitized when the student leaves, prior to the next student sitting there.
12. No games will be played. Manipulatives will be sanitized after every use.
13. Instructors will wear masks while working with students.
14. Students are encouraged to wear masks. If a student doesn't have one, we will provide one. Then that mask will be kept in a paper bag in their binder.
15. Door handles and other high touch surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day.

We are also continuing our on-line learning platform, Mathnasium@Home!
