Mathnasium of Littleton Student Highlights!

We asked a couple of our students their thoughts on Mathnasium of Littleton, Here's what they had to say:

Q: What did you think Mathnasium would be like before you came here?

A:

1: I didn’t think I would like it, because I thought math was horrible.

2: I thought it would be no fun, and that we’d just sit there for an hour doing sheets of math.

Q: What is your favorite thing that’s happened to you at Mathnasium?

A:

1: Receiving my first nerd award

2: When I was the Student of the Month winner

Q: What kind of math are you working on right now?

A:

1: Geometry. It’s going good, but finding the areas of certain shapes can be difficult.

2:Fractions/mixed numbers. So far it has been easy and I’ve found shortcuts and clues to help me figure out answers.

Q: Do you think other kids at your school would be better at math if they came to Mathnasium too?

A:

1:Yes, because it would help them gain confidence in their math skills.

2: Definitely. If you are struggling in math, Mathnasium finds ways that make learning more enjoyable and academic.

Q: What happened to your test scores and grades (in math class) after you started coming to Mathnasium?

A:

1: Much better. I got a 96.24% in my first trimester of 6th grade and 97.9% in my second trimester.

2: My grades are still pretty good, but I feel better about using different math techniques.

Q: Do your parents think Mathnasium is helping you learn math?

A:

1: I think so, because they’re not letting me stop. :)

2: Yes, because it’s an activity I have to attend 2-3 times a week that my parents do not let me miss very often. :)
