Mathnasium of Lorton wants to introduce you to our Owner, Jim Ross

Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: I wanted to start a business, and I've always loved math.

Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: It's a very tight knight community with great sports, activities, and facilities.

Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: We've helped many students change their attitude towards math!

Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: Yes

Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: I would have liked to be challenged and to learn new things.

Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Lorton? A: There are numerous bike and walking trails, we have an arts center called The Workhouse, there are local boat launches into the Occoquan River and Pohick Bay."
