Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Liam Sullivan

Instructor
Liam graduated from Providence College with a BA in Business Economics and Sociology in 2015. He thoroughly enjoys introducing numerical fluency skills to young students which helped him succeed throughout his academic career. One of his favorite math subjects to teach is trigonometry because the triangle is his favorite shape! Outside of math, Liam loves books. He has even published his own book of poetry, ‘The Nomad’, which you can find on Amazon. And you guessed it, Liam could not have published the book “without his knowledge of math!”

Richard Foran

Instructor
Richard has an MBA in Risk Management from St. John’s University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from Manhattan College. He likes working with and teaching young adults, and in his spare time plays tennis, scuba dives, and practices yoga. He is also a volunteer firefighter!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
