| When is Chess Camp? | We have 4 sessions throughout the Summer. Simply pick one of the week-long sessions for your student to attend! | |
| Are we going to be playing chess for the entire 3 hours? | Nope! Each day there will be a set schedule of activities including chess instruction, practice matches, competitions, logic games, puzzles, crafts, and snack time. | |
| How much is chess camp? | It is $199 per student. Mathnasium students receive a 10% discount! | |
| What does the price include? | Pricing includes a free t-shirt, daily snacks, prizes, and daily math-related arts & crafts | |
My student doesn’t know how to play chess. Can they still attend? | Yes! Beginners will be taught how to play throughout the week. | |
| What should campers bring with them each day? | Their enthusiasm! | |
| When are the Chess Tournaments? | Chess Tournaments will be held on Friday. Students are encouraged to wear their Chess Camp t-shirt! We will be taking photos and handing out awards. | |
| Can parents observe the Chess Camp sessions? | Absolutely! | |
| Is lunch provided, or do campers need to bring their own? | Snacks will be provided daily. If your student wants to eat lunch, we kindly ask that they eat before they arrive to Chess Camp. | |
| Is there a refund policy if my child can't attend or needs to leave early? | Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for missed days of camp. However, if your child misses more than one day of our chess camp, we're happy to accommodate by rolling over the remaining days to one of our other summer chess camp sessions at no additional cost. We want to ensure that your child doesn't miss out on the opportunity to enjoy and benefit from our program.
