February 2025- Student Of The Month

We are thrilled to announce Ellis as our February 2025 Student of the Month! 🎉

Ellis is smart, focused, and a dedicated math learner who consistently attends Mathnasium and excels in school. Known for tackling tricky problems with sharp critical thinking, Ellis never shies away from a challenge.

One of the coolest things about Ellis? He’s a saver! While many students eagerly spend their reward cards, Ellis patiently saves and saves, showing incredible self-discipline—something we all wish we had!

Beyond math, Ellis showed bravery and leadership when we visited his school for a classroom activity. Without hesitation, he raised his hand and confidently introduced Mathnasium to his entire class! Way to go, Ellis! Public speaking is no easy feat, and we’re so proud of you for stepping up.

🔴 What was your first impression of Mathnasium?
🟠 I was nervous at first, but then I felt better. I liked the pictures on the walls around the center.

🔴 Is there a specific area of math you’re most passionate about right now?
🟠 Coins are fun.  

🔴 Can you tell us about a math problem or concept that you found challenging but rewarding to master? How did you feel once you understood it?
🟠 Coins were hard at first, and so was multiplication, but I felt happy once I learned them.

🔴 What are some of your future goals related to math?
🟠 I want to learn long division and get better at regular division.

🔴 What is your favorite thing about Mathnasium?
🟠 I like all the rewards and saving up my cards for something cool.

🔴 What is your favorite ice cream?
🟠 Cookies and Cream!

🔴 Do you have any pets?
🟠 I have a dog named Ruthie!
