Q: Do you remember what brought you into Mathnasium of Cherry Hills for the first time? A: I do! The first time I went into Mathnasium it was the summer of 2019. I was transferring to a different school for tenth grade and my parents and I were concerned that I did not know enough material to be able to keep up with my classes at my new school.
Q: How did enrolling in Mathnasium affect your academic future? A: Mathnasium helped me get through all of high school, but especially tenth grade and calculus. I had to take calculus online, and without Mathnasium, I'm not sure I would've passed. They were a great help and made me feel much more comfortable and confident in my math skills.
Q: Do you still use the math you learned at Mathnasium of Cherry Hills today? A: Absolutely! Since I have been going out to eat on my own and paying for my own bill in college, I have been calculating the tips of the bills in my head. Mathnasium has some extremely helpful percentage tricks that I use regularly.
Q: So, where are you now? A: Currently, I am a first-semester student at Colorado State University majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. I hope to one day be able to help all kinds of people, however, I'm not sure if that will be teaching, therapy, or something else entirely. I miss Mathnasium very much and I hope to visit soon!
