Elementary School Summer Math Programs
Numerical Fluency: we teach students effective techniques to master basic addition and subtraction facts. We start with the ten fundamental prerequisites, then scaffold up using visual representations, word problems, thinking in groups and more.
Multiplication Fact Fluency: we teach scalable strategies that include and go beyond the standard 12x12 multiplication table. Key skills include count-bys, repeated addition, commutativity, launching points, and word problems.
Fractions: preview and/or refresh key fraction concepts: naming and drawing fractions, improper fractions, mixed numbers, wholes/parts, comparing fractions, computation with fractions, and ordering fractions.
Word Problems: our comprehensive Problem Solving program covers mastery of techniques related to the four basic operations, proportional reasoning, fractional concepts, algebraic problem-solving, and more.
