After almost 3 decades as a school counselor, it was always clear how critical math education is in student achievement and as a life-skill. Math is Everywhere! Columbia has been my home during three phases of my life: as an elementary student at West Boulevard and Grant Elementary, as a college student while earning bachelor's and master's degrees at Mizzou, and most recently as a school counselor for several years at Rock Bridge High School. I consider it my great honor to support Columbia students in their math achievement goals. The Mathnasium Method works! Hello everyone! I am currently the center director of Mathnasium of Columbia Missouri. I am a senior at the University of Missouri working toward a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Engineering. My future goals are to pursue a teaching career in secondary education in mathematics. I love the way that Mathnasium teaches mathematics as it builds a solid foundation for students while making it fun along the way. In the short years I've worked at Mathnasium I’ve already learned so much and have seen students improve by leaps and bounds. I cannot wait to continue growing in this community and showing students that math can be both rewarding and fun!

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
