Start of February we had a launched a Community GiveBack Initiative – Our Small Way to say a "Big Thank You" to the wonderful School Teachers for everything they do for our students, every single day. This was run by our Commack center, where nearby schools (parents, students) voted to help stock their teacher's fridge with healthy snack products.
Overall, we have been, frankly, overwhelmed with such an enthusiastic response from our
communities of Commack, Dix Hills, Kings Park, Hauppauge, Smithtown, Deer Park and neighboring
towns to this GiveBack Initiative. This note would be rather incomplete without a SHOUT OUT and
THANK YOU to ALL PTA Leaders and Teams, Teachers, School Administration Leaders and
Teams, Library Administration, Parents, Community members. "It's truly taken a Village!"
