Q: What was your initial impression of Mathnasium?

A: Initially, I was impressed that every single student, including my own child, had their own customized learning plan. So everything in his binder is exactly what he needs to strengthen his math skills. I love that he has a mastery check at the end of every skill, and I get an email when he has mastered a new skill. The communication is refreshing, I really feel like I know what he's doing, and he's excited about going!

Q: How has Mathnasium changed your child’s experience with math?

A: Mathnasium has been amazing for my child. Maths were a real struggle for my son before he started at Mathnasium. Since enrollment, his math grade has gone up substantially. He is also way more confident in his abilities, and no longer feels anxious when tackling math homework.

Q: Has anything surprised you about Mathnasium?

A: The biggest surprise is how willing and excited my daughter is to go each time. When we are planning our week, we schedule the days and times she will be going to the center. She comes home, grabs her snack, and is almost always ready before it's time to leave. She's met quite a few friends along the way, and now, they are trying to sync their schedules so they can be at the center at the same time.

Q: What is your favorite result from Mathnasium?

A: We are thankful for the amazing work Mathnasium of Converse has done with our son. He’s come so far in such a short time! His grades have improved significantly but most importantly, he has gained confidence. We homeschool and just got his CAT scores back. In May 2023, his math composite was in the 21st percentile. We were ecstatic to see that his June 2024 math composite shows he is in the 86th percentile in math. I simply couldn't have imagined that type of growth!
