What is the Summer Slide and what can we do about it???

I've been reading about this lately and it concerns me greatly.  BUT, it's very easy to avoid the Summer Slide.  Especially if we make the summer activities fun and less draining.

The findings at Johns Hopkins are compelling and we and our kids can take control of it all with just a little more emphasis.
