This past Saturday (October 17, 2015) at Mathnasium of Fremont, 48 elementary school students showed off their math skills and won money for their local schools by competing in our 5th annual TriMathlon.
A free, fun-filled event for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students, the TriMathlon tests a mathlete’s mental fitness with three fun-filled math challenges: The Counting Game, a Magic Squares Challenge and a Mental Math Workout.
One parent's feedback sums up this wonderful community event. She shares: "It was great pleasure that my daughter's math ability was tested in a fun & friendly way. She was so excited about it. This was the first time she was tested for math skills. I was so worried whether she is able to handle it. But everything went well. We really appreciate it."
