Today we are exploring real world examples of the number two and rays. _________________________________

Two: 2 (two) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 1 and preceding 3. It is the smallest and only even prime number. In real life, we use the number two to count, to find pairs, etc.

Ray: A part of a line with a start point but no end point (it goes to infinity) Have you every wondered why we call it a "ray" of sunshine? Well this is why! We can see rays coming from the sun, flashlights, and plenty of other places.
