Fun with Budgets at HHS's Reality Check

We were thrilled to be a part of Hixson High School's Reality Check event on September 12th! In this event, students role played as adults with jobs and a family. Given a month's salary, they went around to booths around the gymnasium and split it up on various expenses such as rent, insurance and utilities. Mark and Alex were at the groceries booth, tempting the students to spend their hard earned dollars on Name Brand food instead of Discount items. It was a fun exercise in saving, budgetting and the occasional bankruptcy. Thanks to Hixson High School and the Hixson Chamber of Commerce for inviting us to be a part of this fun event!
