Q: What excites you most about opening this new Mathnasium center in Marina Hills?

A: I’m so excited to be part of this community and to offer something that’s truly valuable to students and families here. We’ve seen such incredible success with our students in Dana Point, and I can’t wait to bring that same energy to Marina Hills. We’re not just teaching math—we’re building confidence, and problem-solving skills, and helping kids develop a positive attitude toward learning.

Q: How does Mathnasium help students who may feel anxious or discouraged about math?

A: We understand that math can be a source of anxiety for some students, and we’re here to change that! Our instructors are trained to work with kids who might be struggling and help them see math in a new light. We break down concepts into manageable parts and use engaging activities to make learning enjoyable. Watching a child’s mindset shift from “I can’t” to “I can” is one of the best parts of what we do.
