A YEAR AT MATHNASIUM OF DANA POINT!

Q: What was your favorite math-success memory of 2023?

A: My favorite math-success story is about McKenzie. McKenzie came to us in the spring of 2023, with high school graduation in a few months, and having to take a placement test for her college classes. We put together a learning plan for her to review Algebra and high school concepts she needed to brush up on. McKenzie would come in with stories from her math class at school, about how she was now able to help the other students! She has just finished her first semester at ISU and we are so proud of her!

Q: Tell us about a student who really worked hard in 2023

A: Vinnie joined Mathnasium in summer of 2022. He was two levels behind grade level. He has worked so hard and made so much progress! In the last year and a half, he has worked through two whole grade levels of topics, and is now working on his third, right where he should be! Great job, Vinnie!

Q: What have you noticed about your student’s math ability this year?

A: Raaniya's math ability has sharpened and evolved during this Mathnasium year. And her focus has improved! But I also feel her math at school is harder than the stuff she is doing at Mathnasium. (This is a great observation on behalf of the parent who is right. Sometimes, their child has some catching up to do so schoolwork is on a different level!)
