Mathnasium of Montgomeryville Offers Two Instruction Options: In Person and via Video Conferencing

Jun 15, 2020 | Montgomeryville

Mathnasium of Montgomeryville is pleased to announce we will resume in-center instruction on July 1, 2020.

In addition, our Mathnasium @Home video conference instruction will continue without interruption.

Families have two instruction options to select from:  @Home or In-Center.  Whichever you choose, your Mathlete will benefit from being a member of the Mathnasium of Montgomeryville family.

Our building at 202 Marketplace has been empty since Pennsylvania’s stay at home order was issued.  But our Mathnasium of Montgomeryville learning center is and has been open.  Our students have continued to receive instruction.  Our students have continued to learn.  Our students have continued to improve their math abilities.  We are and have been open delivering instruction via Mathnasium @Home.

Great instructors delivering great instruction.  Big personalities, caring hearts, attentive minds.  Making math learning fun and making math make sense … The Mathnasium Method … that’s our Center.

And now, we once again can give families two instruction options to choose from:  @Home via video conferencing or in-person at our learning center location.

How Will Mathnasium of Montgomeryville In-Center Instruction Work Moving Forward?

Due to CDC and state guidelines, the in-center instruction set up we had pre-Covid is no longer possible. We have outlined the following for our in-center experience moving forward with a video walk through here:

  • Scheduled Sessions – All sessions must be scheduled in advance and there will be a limited number available to keep our building head count below guidelines.
  • Social Distancing – Students will be properly social distanced throughout the center in their work area.
  • Face Masks – All students will be required to wear face masks.  The instructors they are working with will also be wearing face masks.  Parents who may need to enter the center for any reason will also be required to wear face masks.  Please note, there will no longer be a parent waiting area in the center.
  • Acrylic Guards – Between each student and the instructor there will be a clear acrylic guard.
  • Cleaning Regimen – Mathnasium of Montgomeryville has always maintained high standards of cleanliness.  Families and students who do in-center instruction will notice additional protocols in place to further raise that bar.  This includes mandatory hand sanitizing for students as they enter and exit the learning center, built in time gaps between when one student’s session ends and the next student begins for disinfecting student work areas, and more.
  • Student Drop-Off / Pick-Up – When students arrive, they should wait in the reception area to be checked in by our team. Unfortunately, in order to keep our head count at the appropriate levels, we will eliminate the parent waiting area.  Parents are welcome to wait outside or in their car.

  • Student Departure Time – It is absolutely necessary that students be picked up as soon as their session is over. We will not be able to have students waiting for parents to arrive.

Members can select from in-center instruction or online video conference instruction. Which is right for your family?  Call us and we can answer your questions.
