Q: What is the first thing a new student would do upon entering Mathnasium?
A: When a new student comes into the Center, we first greet them at the door, show them our awesome binder shelf to grab their binder, and then meet their instructor at their seat.
Q: What does the first session look like for new students?
A: For a new student, their first session consists of a tour of the Center, a breakdown of their binder, and a lot of getting to know the student.
Q: Have you seen a student’s attitude towards math change?
A: Yes, when Evie first came to Mathnasium, she needed support with counting and numerical fluency. She was embarrassed and shy at first, but with years of working with her on her math, she is nearly at grade level and loves coming in for her sessions! She has developed such a great Growth Mindset!
Q: What do you wish students and parents knew before they brought their student to your center?
A: Have students bring in their homework, class work, test prep, or any other work from school. We want to not only fill gaps, but also support them in their classes. We want them to succeed inside and outside of Mathnasium!
