MEET ONE OF OUR FABULOUS INSTRUCTORS – RICHARD!

Richard has a B.S. degree in Geology with a minor in Mathematics from Texas Tech University. He is retired from the oil & gas industry where he spent many years as an exploration geophysicist for two different seismic contractors and finished his career with British Petroleum.

He comes to us from a Mathnasium in Colorado where he worked part-time since 2009. Richard enjoys the interaction with the students, especially when they have one of those "light bulb" moments when understanding kicks in. Also, it keeps his "retired" brain active! His hobbies include gardening, jigsaw puzzles, all things related to trains, and a passion for table tennis over the last 40+ years having played twice in the U.S. Open and many U.S. National Championships.
