May 6th through the 10th is Teacher Appreciation Week! Here are 5 easy ways for parents and/or students of any age to show their appreciation to their teachers!
“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” - Henry Adams
Teachers are the unsung heroes of our society. After parents, they are often the most influential adults in a child’s life. The lessons taught by our best teachers stay with us throughout our lives, but often it’s the passion that makes the greatest impact.
Although we should appreciate our teachers every day, the first full week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week here in the U.S., and if ever you were going to show your appreciation to your teachers, this is the week to do it.
Here are 5 simple suggestions that parents and/or students of any age can do to tell teachers how much they appreciate them during Teacher Appreciation Week.
- Tell the principal how much you appreciate your favorite teachers and why.
- Write a heartfelt card or note.
- Donate supplies to their classroom.
- Give them gift cards.
- Be a good student, a good person. Pay it forward.
Showing appreciation doesn’t have to be big or expensive, it just has to come from the heart. Take a moment to show your teachers how much you appreciate them this week!

The best way to see if we are a good fit for your child’s needs is to visit our center, meet the instructors and get a Complimentary Math Skills Assessment.
