Paul Casillas
Center Director
Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Washington Adventist University and brings a passion for hands-on learning to his role at Mathnasium. He started by teaching science experiments to elementary students, which led him to Mathnasium, where he now helps students explore number sense and problem-solving.
Paul enjoys connecting with kids and believes in the power of the Mathnasium Method to make math meaningful. When he’s not in the center, he enjoys skateboarding—and fun fact: he once landed a heelflip!
Blue Constable
Assistant Center Director
Blue has always excelled in math and discovered their passion for tutoring while helping classmates at Evergreen State College Tacoma. Before joining Mathnasium, Blue worked in building maintenance, where they developed strong communication and teamwork skills.
Mathnasium is a natural fit for Blue, who values personalized learning that helps students grow at their own pace. Outside the center, Blue is an artist and writer who enjoys creating visual art, short stories, and poetry.
Gayatri Bharambe
Assistant Center Director
Gayatri graduated from Virginia Tech in 2023 with a degree in Mathematics and Psychology, followed by a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Mathematics. Her passion for teaching began in high school while interning with a 5th grade math teacher, where she discovered how the way math is taught can shape a student's relationship with the subject.
Gayatri is excited to be at Mathnasium because of its focus on making math meaningful and fun—not just memorized. Outside the center, she loves traveling, and is always planning her next trip. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking new dishes.
Austin Darnell
Area Manager
Austin holds a degree in Mathematics from James Madison University and joined Mathnasium in 2019. He’s served as Center Director at multiple locations and now supports several teams as Area Manager.
A strong advocate for math education, Austin brings energy, creativity, and leadership to every center he supports. Outside of work, he enjoys filmmaking, podcasts, and reading. He also minored in film studies while at JMU.

No. Students who attend online receive the same high-quality instruction, personalized learning plans, and supportive environment as those who attend in person at our center.
We support students in grades K–12 across a range of math classes and topics, from early childhood math and arithmetic to Algebra and Geometry.
