Let it Snow: December Math Activity

Dec 16, 2022 | Stone Oak

Last blog post we spoke about the math behind snow forecasting and how math is used in everyday life and professions. We know that this may have been a bit cruel seeing that we live in a region that rarely experiences snow. So to be fair, this blog post we are going to share a pretend snow math activity.

With the Mathnasium December math activity, your family can experience snow in the comfort of your own home. Regardless of where you live, you can make it snow in your area - all you need is math!

Kids who do math at home with their parents, in a fun and low-stress environment, are more likely to say that they enjoy math as a subject in school, and are more likely to do well in math classes.

This simple project is both fun for parents and kids to have fun with math! Just click the link below, open, and print!
