1. Our favorite “aha!” moment with a student.

A: A student was working on missing addends and having difficulty grasping the concept. After working with her on the mathnasium method for missing addends, she started getting it and had the ""aha"" moment. That was great to watch!

2. A time when a student earned a reward.

A: A student set their sight on one of the prizes in the reward cabinet. He initially felt he needed to save up a lot of cards for it. But with some motivation from our side, he decided to work on more worksheets to earn the stars sooner than later. When he redeemed his cards, his smile beamed from ear to ear. He even earned enough to get something for his sibling.

3. Positive parent experience.

A: A student came to us and used to hate math when he joined. After 3 months of mathnasium program, the mom started seeing improvement in the confidence and their willingness to come back for their math sessions. That's when she asked us what magic have we done here!

4. Favorite ways to teach concepts.

A: I like to teach number sense with manipulatives, so students have something concrete to look at.They grasp the concept better in my opinion.

5. A time when a student scored well on a test.

A: One student came struggling with multiplication at school. After she worked on multiplication fluency with us, she did really well at school and her score improved there.
