Thanksgiving is all about getting together with friends and family to share our bounty, our love and friendship. It's also the perfect time to have fun with math in real world ways. Will you be cooking for your Thanksgiving celebration? Then you will be doing math!
Mathnasium has designed a fun and educational November activity that families can do together. The recipe requires your child to use their math skills to halve or double the receipe before baking. The activity can be done as a fun math exercise, but the real fun lies in baking the recipe together and enjoying the pastries that come out of the oven!
