Mathnasium of Westford Turns Up the Fun with STEM Summer Camp for Grades 1–6

Hands-On Activities, Real-World Lessons, and Brain-Boosting Games All Packed into One Week of Learning

This summer, Mathnasium of Westford is inviting young learners to turn math into an adventure at Camp Mathnasium — a fun, five-day camp that combines hands-on STEM activities with expert-led math instruction to help kids stay sharp, curious, and confident. 

Designed for students entering grades 1 through 6, the camp runs two weeks this summer — 

July 07 – July 11 and August 04 – 08 — from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM. At just $799 per camper (with a $99 discount for currently enrolled Mathnasium students), it's the perfect mix of education and summer fun.

Avoid the Summer Slide with Math Made Fun While summer should be a time to relax, kids can lose up to 27% of the math skills they gained during the school year — a phenomenon known as the “summer slide.” Camp Mathnasium tackles that head-on with a week of engaging challenges and creative learning experiences.
Led by trained Mathnasium instructors, campers will:

• Learn face-to-face in a fun, supportive environment
• Play interactive games that build critical thinking
• Dive into STEM projects designed to inspire exploration

Activities include everything from building marshmallow spaghetti towers and decoding secret messages with cryptography, to designing paper airplanes in a NASA-inspired challenge. They'll even get creative with tessellation art inspired by M.C. Escher and apply real-world skills to build a scale-factor house. Personalized Learning Meets Summer Fun Students new to Mathnasium will also receive a free Math Skills Assessment during camp — giving families insights into their child’s strengths and areas for improvement ahead of the new school year.
