Nick realized at a young age that he enjoyed math and has spent the last two years tutoring students from 1st grade - 11th grade. With experience teaching all ages, he is excited to help students of any skill level. He also previously spent 8 years as an after school skateboard instructor so he has experience with children as well. In his free time, he enjoys going to concerts and hanging out with his friends.
Joey, a UCSB graduate with a degree in Aquatic Biology, is a lifelong resident of San Pedro and is deeply committed to its community. Recognizing the importance of public educational resources, he dedicates his time as a volunteer to institutions like AltaSea. While working as an Educational Aide at Dana Middle School, he also tutors at Mathnasium after school. When not diving into his community work, Joey enjoys photography, playing the piano, weightlifting, and experimenting in the kitchen.
Andrew is a Palos Verdes native and recently moved back to the community after living in Chicago & New York. He studied math at Dartmouth College and is currently pursuing a M.Ed. in his free time. He also coaches the PV High Swim team (Go Sea Kings!) and has been instructing and coaching students for the last decade! With a strong passion for math and education, his goal is providing every student at the center with an effective, engaging, and encouraging learning experience that cultivates an intuitive understanding of math and learning.
