New COVID CDC Guidelines

Hello Parents! 

We are so excited to announce our Mathnasium Study Hall Learning PODS! Our learning pods will help students in 1st-12th grade focus on their studies while safely interacting with other students. PODS will be offered from Monday-Thursday every week on a first come, first served basis.

Mathnasium Study Hall Learning PODS will:

• Keep your student on task. We will monitor students while they are attending their virtual sessions, or working on assingments. It is important to note that we are not teaching your students the material they bring. Rather, we are providing them with a safe, quiet space outside of their home to complete their work. Students will need to arrive each day with their own device (tablet or laptop) as well as headphones. Phones should be silenced and put away for the entirety of the session.
   
• Allow your student to study in a safe environment. Students will be kept at least 6 ft away from each other the entire time they are in the center. Temperature checks and masks will be required of all staff and students. We will also be frequently disinfecting all hard surfaces. If your student or any member of your household is feeling ill, it is required that they stay home. 
   
• Let you to focus on your own work. Need some time to prepare for your big Zoom meeting? Let us monitor your student's studies for the week so that you can focus on what needs to get done.
   
• Be a fun and educational experience for your student! In addition to the proctored study hall, students will engage in fun math related activities! We will also give study skills tips to help prepare your student for the unique challenges associated with remote learning. We want to help minimize the amount of stress students and parents are feeling during this pandemic.
   
• All staff and students will be required to wash their hands often, use hand sanitizer distributed around the center, keep face masks on throughout duration of sessions, instructors are to keep face shields on in addition to face mask and everyone's temperature will be taken upon arrival.
