Finding a Quarter

Every Wednesday morning, we post one of our #MathTricks videos on Facebook.  So far we've reviewed mental math tricks for percents, finding half (of both even and odds) and finding a quarter of a number.  Be sure to follow to learn more of our math secrets!

Recently, we've been covering finding half of both even and odd numbers.  Once you have those mastered, finding a quarter of a number is just as easy!  

Remember our trick to finding half?  A quarter is "4 parts the same".  So to find a quarter, all you need to do is find a half of a half!
