We start with a free assessment and interview to find out what you are looking for and propose a plan customized just for your student.
We have several types of memberships to choose from.
10 and 20 visits, good all summer and our once a week and unlimited visit plans.
All our plans are no appointment necessary, drop in when convenient.

Feeling confident in math spills over to confidence in other subjects. I’m so glad my kids don’t have the same experience I did growing up- believing I wasn’t smart because I was so lost in math. My kids are fully up to speed with their math skills thanks to their time at mathnasium. They can feel good about themselves as they bring home As! And the teachers at mathnasium as so wonderful at creating a relaxed learning environment. I could not be happier!

Mathnasium has completely changed how my daughter approaches math. She no longer hates math and is excited to go to her weekly tutoring sessions. She took Physics this year and is completely killing that course, all due to Mathnasium. If you have a child that needs help in this subject this is the place to go. The staff are knowledgeable, relatable, non-judgemental and kind.

My son (13) has been resistant to learning math. We tried workbooks, hands-on tools, videos, text books and nothing stuck. I was resistant to Mathnasium initially because it seemed like it was going to be the same story again with my son refusing to engage. We tried it and he loved it immediately! We were surprised and delighted. It's become one of his favorite things to do!

My daughter has had continued success in Math since enrolling in Mathnasium several years ago. Peter and his staff truly are amazing. They know how to keep teaching fun while holding kids accountable. Highly recommend. Coming from a parent of a kid that struggled to understand Math concepts taught at local institutions, to an A student.

there is good energy in the classroom, kids seem happy to be there. the tutors are friendly and engaged. my daughter was very resistant and skeptical, as she does very well in math at school. i signed her up so she can get help with the little “gaps and holes” before she gets into the more meaty and difficult math in high school. she’s only attended 4 sessions so far, and aced a math test she was not confident about just last week. the owner, peter is also wonderful. highly recommend! worth the money and effort.

Great experience as an adult with very minimal math knowledge the staff are all very understanding and helpful in a way that is not making me feel uncomfortable .. most 7 th graders are way beyond my knowledge level .. so it was intimidating for me to go and sit amongst kids my daughters age ((10) . But they made me feel comfortable and I was able to show my daughter who goes to the class already it’s never too late to learn...

My daughter actually looks forward to going and Peter has gone above and beyond with scheduling. Mathnasium has been crucial for my daughter after enduring nearly a 1 1/2 without in person school and then transferring to an academically challenging high school. She could not have done it without their help.

I think the teachers/tutors have a very positive, engaged attitude which is motivating for my daughter.
I like the fact that the kids can come with their school homework to work on it. And that the teachers are willing to address any issues the kids may be having with a particular concept.
The flexibility in scheduling the session is also very helpful.

My daughter has learned so much at Mathnasium Scott’s Valley. She began going initially so that she wouldn’t fall behind during the pandemic. But she likes it so much and it’s keeping her ahead of the game in school that she is continuing. Peter and all the teachers there are amazing. I highly recommend Mathnasium Scotts Valley!

Not only has Mathnasium improved our daughters math scores but it has given her confidence in the subject. She even made it to math olympics in computation this year! She truly enjoys her time there and makes sure that we signed her up each week for her sessions. We are so glad we were introduced to Mathnasium and have suggested it to many friends.

Sam has been going to Mathnasium 2 times a week for about 1 month now and we've seen an immediate improvement on his math tests. He loves going there. I don't have anything eloquent to say. Peter is humble and kind and a great leader. His staff are also good role models and focused. My kiddo is proud of his activities and accomplishments. The environment is peaceful, inclusive, and energized. Overall - I will gladly recommend Mathnasium to anyone who asks who seems like they would benefit. The cost is not overly high, fairly average, and the ROI is significant.
