Eric Wilson, Executive Director
About: Eric graduated from the University of Memphis with a Master of Science degree. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Delta State University. He is the President of Acadint Education Management.
Hobbies: Eric is an FCC licensed Amateur Radio operator. He enjoys world travel, camping, hiking, and is a PADI certified Scuba Diver.
Fun Fact: Eric has travled to all 50 U.S. states and over 20 other countries around the world.
Favorite Number: Eric's favorite number is π because it is a part of the farbic of the universe.
Justin Weathers, Center Director
Justin is the center director of the Mathnasium of Memphis East. Prior to the joining Mathnasium, Justin studied at the University of Memphis. He has a Bachelor of Philosphy degree with a minor in psychology. Having struggled with math as a child, Justin is enthusiastic about helping every child in the Memphis community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. Justin specializes in conducting math skills assessments and creating student learning plans. He is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the Mid-South.
Joshua Foster, Instructor
About: Joshua is currently a mechnical engineering major at the University of Memphis. He graduated from West Memphis High School.
Hobbies: Joshua enjoys playing the piano and learning trivia.
Fun Fact: Joshua is technically from West Memphis, Arkansas which he has to frequently remind people is not in Tennessee.
Favorite Number: Joshua's favorite number is 5 because it is easy to identify it's mutiples.
Ivan Campos, Instructor
About: Ivan is a chemical engineering major at Christian Brothers University. He was born and raised in Memphis and graduated from White Station High.
Fun Fact: Ivan plays college soccer with CBU and plays the violin. He comes from a Peruvian heritage and speaks fluent Spansh.
Hobbies: Ivan likes to play soccer, eat, and listen to music.
Favorite Number: 25 because what's funnier than 24? 25! Spongebob reference :)
Joseph Gray, Instructor
Joseph is a native Memphian. His interest in math began early, with his mother, who had been a math teacher, and his time at MathPath, a prestigious middle school camp coordinated by Prof. Stephen Maurer at Swarthmore College. He has studied advanced mathematics at Rhodes College and plans to major in economics.
