News from Mathnasium of Mequon

At Mathnasium of Mequon, your local math-only learning center, we are dedicated to helping children learn and understand math in ways that can change their lives forever.

In efforts to get to know local families and show them that math can be fun, we are looking for Mequon area elementary schools interested in co-hosting a Virtual Math Night. The crazy part is that it’s free and we’ll take care of staffing and logistics! 

While we’d love to get back to hosting Math Nights in person, we have found a great way to still offer an engaging event virtually! We will host a 1-hour event on Zoom and provide instructors to lead all of the games at no cost to your school. (Games are appropriate for grades K-5.) Your PTA/PTO/PTSA/school is responsible for getting the word out to parents, teachers and most importantly students! (The key to success is getting students excited about Math Night so their parents take action to sign up!) We also host a joint raffle for attending families in which Mathnasium donates a prize, and we ask your school to donate as well.

Does your school have a PTA? Did you know you could win a $1,000 grant? Mathnasium has partnered with National PTA in their STEM + Families Initiative. You could be one of 35 local PTAs to receive $1,000 to host a STEM + Families Math Night.

What if your school has a PTO, another form of Parent Association, or you don't win a grant? Mathnasium of Mequon would still love to offer our help in hosting a Math Night at your school! We’ve done Math Nights with public, private, and parochial schools.
