Michael Bochicchio, Center Director
Michael Bochicchio received his Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from Morehead State University. Michael is also a certified secondary education teacher and received his certification from Rowan University. He taught Algebra and geometry at Jackson Memorial High School in Jackson, New Jersey. He became a teacher because he enjoys math and loves helping students understand mathematics. He says, "I want to show people that math is not as painful as they think." He loves seeing students reach the "ah-ha" moment: "Working at Mathnasium allows me to bring that out in students on a daily basis."
Tara Ruda, Instructor
Tara Ruda received her bachelor's in Mathematics and Education as well as her Masters in the art of teaching Secondary Mathematics from Monmouth University. She has been tutoring K-12 mathematics since 2005 and college mathematics since 2006. Tara has taught college pre-algebra, and algebra for a year and half at Brookdale Community College. She loves helping struggling students understand math concepts and seeing their success when they master such topics.
Kim Koslowsky, Instructor
Kim received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and education at Montclair State University. She completed her student teaching at Montclair High School where she taught both Algebra I and II. Her passion for teaching mathematics care early to her because she, like many students, feared the material. "I've wanted to become a math teacher feel confident and love math just as much as I do."
Samantha Supon, Instructor
Samantha Supon received her Bachelor's of Science degree in mathematics from Coastal Carolina University as well as her K through 12 certification through the alternate route program. As a tutor in college Samantha loved helping students understand mathematics. In addition to being an instructor at Mathnasium Samantha is currently home schooling students. She became a math teacher because she has "always enjoyed mathematics and wanted to help other feel the same."
Michele Mazzacco, Instructor
Michele Mazzacco studied mathematics education at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She received her bachelor?s degree in Mathematics and her certification in Secondary Education. Michele completed her student teaching at Communications High School. She taught Algebra 2, Statistics, and Pre-Calculus. She is also a substitute at Allied Health and Science and Point Pleasant Beach High School. Michele says, "Most children dislike math, and I want to be the teacher that changes that. I enjoy seeing the 'light bulb' go off when students understand math."
John Napoli, Owner
John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Mathematics from Baruch College, City of New York. After a successful career on Wall Street he decided to open a business that could "add-value" to our lives in the truest sense of the term; with our children. John is the father of three, ranging from elementary through high school, and has a deep appreciation for education and development, particularly in the field of mathematics. He is especially passionate about increasing children's self-confidence and lives for those "Ahhh!" moments when a child gets it!
