Successful Re-opening of In-Center Learning

We successfully re-opened for in-person instruction. It's been wonderful to see our students again! For those families "on hold" during our closure, please contact us to resume IN CENTER sessions. If your students have currently been using Mathnasium@home, you may continue to do so, begin coming to the center, or schedule a hybrid plan that works for your family. Please call or text us at 302-449-7053, or email us at middletownde@mathnasium.com, to discuss!
Our new design pattern ensures that students are sitting at least 6 feet apart, and acryllic sneeze guards between the instructor and student add extra protection. We have implemented a comprehensive disinfection and protection protocol to make sure that all surfaces are clean and disinfected . We also have hand sanitizer at each table, disinfect each binder after every session, and are keeping student supplies in pencil cases that are in their binders.
Our new safety protocol requires every student who attends our center to:
- wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival and before they leave.
- cooperate with social distancing rules at the tables.
- wear a face mask while in center. (Students 12 years old or younger are not required if they cannot tolerate mask wearing.)
Just a reminder, we are limiting the number of students who can attend the center at any one time so that we can observe social distancing guidelines. Therefore, in-center sessions need to be scheduled via the "IN-CENTER" link provided. Walk-in sessions won’t be possible for the time being. As part of the same safety precautions, the parent area will be closed until further notice.

Mathnasium is excellent!!! My son doesn't complain about math anymore and he gets the help and confidence he needs. Appointments can be face to face or virtual. Scheduling online is super easy and the owner is always available. Mathnasium is our partner in learning and we plan on using them throughout high school. Been working with Mr. Taylor and his team for a couple of years. My kids transitioned from another math and reading program to Mathnasium and loved it. They love the shortcuts, challenge questions and games as well. This makes math fun and easy to learn. My 9th grader is doing geometry now and honors math and enjoys working with the tutors at Mathnasium.

Very impressive! My kids have been going to Mathnasium for 4 months and they love it! They complain about going to school and they complain when they come home. They don't feel like they get enough help and they don't understand the material. But they love going to Mathnasium! They're happy to go and in great moods when they leave. They get individualized help and all of their questions answered in a way they enjoy and understand. I would recommend the Middletown Mathnasium to everyone! The staff there is amazing!

Mathnasium has really helped my daughter understand math much better than she has in past years. The tutors explain the math in a much easier way, where she grasps the math and can remember how to solve the problems. We are very pleased with Mathnasium because they make learning math for my daughter less stressful. Mathnasium makes learning math fun and gives my daughter more confidence to learn math, keep trying and not get discouraged. Once schools closed last March 2020, due to the COVID pandemic, I was very impressed with how quickly Mathnasium reopened and allowed the students to be tutored via online. Thank goodness for this option as Mathnasium has been wonderful by keeping the tutoring sessions going. Kudos to Mathnasium! I highly recommend Mathnasium for students struggling in math. Over time students will see progress with continued practice with Mathnasium tutors.

Thus far I am impressed. My children are excited to learn new mathematical concepts and have told stories about how they used information that was taught in their classroom at school which they had previously learned at Mathnasium. The instructors work well with my children and everyone seems to have a genuine vested interest. I have even referred my friend and will be signing up my niece for online sessions.

Both of my kids have benefited tremendously from Mathnasium’s highly competent tutors. My son used them for Integrated Math 2, 3 and 4 honors level high school math. My daughter is using their services now to help her with Math 114 during Winter Session at UD. Amar, the owner, hires outstanding tutors. I can’t say enough good things about Mathnasium. If you are looking for a math tutor- you can’t find a better place in the MOT area. I highly recommend their math tutoring services to everyone. They offer both online and in person one on one sessions.

I don't think it has even been a month and My daughter has already shown a huge improvement. With school being virtual, I was really nervous about this school year; however, this program has been of tremendous help. I can see a change in her attitude towards math. She definitely has gained confidence in her abilities to complete the work. She is now even answering questions during class which she would not have done before. She loves coming every week, and recently received an "A" on her Geometry test!! Her face was priceless. Definitely wish I would have enrolled her sooner but excited to continue to watch her grown and gain a new appreciation for Math. Math is no longer a hassle in our home but is now able to be embraced.

Mathnasium has been a great fit for our 5th and 11th grade sons. During covid times, it was nice to have a safe place for them to have face-to-face math instruction. There's no upselling needed for me to continue Mathnasium. My family have been participants since 2[PHONE NUMBER REMOVED], and have reaped the benefits of the learning structure/theory evident in their Math grades. It can be a struggle during the summer months, but a perfect necessary option during the summer Covid months. A few months ago they needed encouragement, but definitely a staple part of the curriculum in the school year.

I have been a big fan of Mathnasium since we joined a couple of years ago. Schools closing through the pandemic made me an even bigger fan. Where I felt that my daughter struggled with understanding online and virtual math through her school, I feel that Mathnasium dove right in making learning math possible for her. He was always ready to listen to my concerns regarding my daughter’s performance and addressed each concern immediately without any hesitation. We have used Mathnasium for maintenance during the school year and the summer program to help strengthen skills in preparation for the next grade level and could not be more pleased with the results! Our kids are middle school age. They love the staff at Middletown Mathnasium and have a great peace of mind knowing the instructors can work one on one with them to help them when needed to gain better understanding of math concepts. Michelle and Amar are wonderful and it has been a pleasure having our kids enrolled under their watchful eyes. Our 7th grader’s math grade improved greatly from 6th to 7th grade. As parents, it is worth every penny to see our kids have confidence in math. The kids know it is helping them, so it is never a struggle to send them for their sessions-which is a huge bonus!

We enrolled my daughter in Mathnasium because we felt that she was not being challenged enough in her math class at school. I appreciate how well my daughter is learning math thanks to the wonderful tutors at Mathnasium. Her standardized test scores have improved by almost 20% in five months. She is still finding math to be easy at school but she cannot wait to get to Mathnasium and she cannot wait to tell me all that she learned. I feel that she is getting a very strong foundation in math that will carry her far!

My daughter has been attending Mathnasium for a few years now, the program has changed her perception on math. She has learned to love working with numbers and now reports math as one of her favorite subjects. I love that she is instructed on levels according to her needs in addition to receiving HW help. The instructor and teacher communication is definitely a plus, it allows the Mathnasium instructor to teach as the teacher does in the classroom. I recommend this location for anyone in need of a little help with math.
