We have had a good and consistent experience before the quarantine. But the effort the staff has put in during these extreme circumstances just shows how much they care about the families who attend mathnasium. We are blessed to have such competent and kind staff helping our child. They have also been so flexible with scheduling as we have had to make several changes to accommodate the evolving school online experience. We appreciate this location so much, and will always use mathnasium for our tutoring needs with all of our children in the future.

My son has learned so much at Mathnasium. Not only has he learned new math that has not yet been taught at school, but they have reinforced (with a better understanding) what he already knew. We have not been at Mathnasium long, but I have been so impressed that they not only helped my child study for a test, but even came up with a study guide for him.

We were pleasantly surprised at how well our 5yr old was doing after just 3weeks in Mathnasium. After a cross country move & a decision to homeschool, mathnasium was the perfect place to make sure we were keeping up with his kindergarten peers. Not only is he keeping up, but we are now 45% mastered with 1st grade math. We finish kindergarten in 2 weeks!

We brought our son to Mathnasium as he was transitioning to a new school following Christmas break. ADD and a processing disorder made math particularly hard for him and his grades in his previous school suffered greatly along with his self confidence. Even with private tutoring, he struggled.
Upon entering his new school , they recommended Mathnasium. They said they had seen great results in student who attended. Well they were absolutely correct!!! From day one we were given a full outline of the program details and how the Mathnasium team would partner not only with us as parents but also with the schools teachers to help create a plan that was tailored to fit my sons specific needs. Not only do they help keep him on track in his current studies, they also are working to get him up to speed with past concepts he had not previously mastered.
The help they provide to him daily has turned homework and studying from a dreaded horrible event to a pleasant and rewarding experience. Today, he finished his math work in after school carpool. He could not wait to get to Mathnasium to have them check his work. He has gone from a D student in Math to averaging an A- in his first 4 weeks of the new term.
I cannot thank John and his team enough for the support and guidance they have provided to my son and to us as parents. I am seeing my sweet boy be joyous and excited realizing his great potential. Thank you Mathnasium for being part of our village and taking such an active role in caring for our son.

Our daughter had lost her confidence in Math but through the support and kindness of the staff she has not only regained her confidence but is motivated to progress further. John and the staff are very professional and kid friendly. They invest in your child's well-being and have their best interest in mind always. The flexibility and simplicity of the plan and process is great for active families. The free assessment to discover your child's initial math level is very detailed and allows you to see where they can make the most impact the quickest. mastery tests and monthly emails provide you updates on your childs progress. Finally they work seamlessly with you, your child's teachers, academic support staff, and counselors to make your child's success a team effort.

When Michael arrived home from the 3rd day of school he said, "Guess what happened today? My teacher was asking us which numbers were odd and even and I was the only kid who knew which numbers in the hundreds were odd or even." When asked how he knew when other kids didn't, he quickly responded, "Mathnasium." Michael then went on to tell me that he really liked knowing the answers and he told me how easy it was to distinguish between odd and even no matter what the number is.

Has given my son confidence in math. In just 3 months, he is getting A's and B's on his quizzes, tests and homework. He loves going, says he likes they way the "teach" math. He also shared with me he doesn't just want to get caught up with the other children in his class he wants to be the best in class! Pretty amazing comment from a 4th grade boy who has never been a fan of school! Keep up the good work Middletown Mathnasium!

Holly and the other staff at Mathnasium know my child and can discuss him and his progress with me generally. Although I know they are VERY familiar with him, I appreciate that they take the time to look at his progress when discussing details with me. We are an old Kumon family and have found that Mathnasium is a better program fit for our family in that the work is done at the Mathnasium facility rather than at home. When we were at Kumon, my kids would complain and argue against doing Kumon work at home.
