The End of a Quarter = New Challenges Next Quarter

Oct 22, 2021 | Mira Mesa & Scripps Ranch
Our students that are on a quarter system this year just had final exams this week and are ready for three new classes for the next nine weeks starting Monday.

Though this feels like the end of a chapter, we must consider potential challenges that lay ahead in order for us to be academically prepared.

If your student didn't have math during Quarter 1 but is scheduled to take math beginning Quarter 2, this means those math skills have been collecting dust since the last school year and potentially for 6 months or more!

If your student did have math during Quarter 1 and is not scheduled to take math during Quarter 2, their hard-earned math skills are going to go on pause for the next nine weeks before they see math again. By the time math is re-introduced, some of those will have been lost or forgotten and confidence can easily be lost re-learning skills.

Mathnasium has supported many students with the quick-pace and academic breaks that come with a quarter system in school.

Our goal is to not only help you with math when there is a direct need but to also think ahead and have a plan in place to ensure your academic success for the whole school year and beyond.

Call us to schedule a FREE Center Tour where your family can find out more information and get a Free Session to experience how we can change your lives -- through math!
