The Last Normal School Year for Students

Oct 1, 2021 | Mira Mesa & Scripps Ranch

March 2020 was the month when schools had to close their doors for on-campus learning due to the pandemic.  Educators tried their best to get their virtual learning started but some students didn't have consistent lectures from March through June and then the summer break began.

Last school year, almost every student spent the majority of the year at home continuing their learning remotely.  Though this was an option in regards to health and safety, it was not the best option for each student.

Students are unique and they all have different strengths and areas of improvement that cannot be met with such a distant engagement. Students thrive in social and educational settings and the schools reopened with this in mind.

Unfortunately, it has been THREE WHOLE YEARS since their last "normal" school year with no disruptions or distractions to their academic experiences.
