Emberlynn

Assistant Center Director
Emberlynn developed a passion for mathematics and statistics during their five years working in the robotics field. Their mission is to foster understanding and appreciation of mathematics as the underpinnings of much of human understanding, and to help kids succeed both today and tomorrow.

Amanda Burdi

Owner
Amanda is the Co-Owner at Mathnasium of Mooresville and nearby Mathnasium of Huntersville. Prior to opening her Mathnasium Learning Centers, Amanda was a graduate student at Virginia Tech where she received an MS in Environmental Engineering. She also has a BS in Environmental Engineering from NC State. Amanda has always loved math and wants to share her enthusiasm with kids of all ages. As a tutor and instructor for more than a decade, Amanda is passionate about explaining concepts by teaching people in a way that makes sense to them. She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the Huntersville community.

Emmerson

Lead Instructor
Emmerson is a high school senior at South Iredell High School and will attend UNC Chapel Hill in the fall with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Education. She has always loved math and enjoys helping people whenever possible. Her favorite things are helping kids understand math and inspiring joy for the subject.

Emilio

Lead Instructor
Emilio is currently in his Senior year at Davidson College, where he is majoring in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics. Always having excelled in math, Emilio began tutoring multiple students regularly in high school, where he developed his love for helping others reach their potential. Since 2020, Emilio has been a mainstay at the Mathnasium center and has aided hundreds of students grow their confidence in their own math capabilities through patience, constistency, and kindness.

Will

Instructor
Will is a graduate of Western Carolina University with a BS degree in Mathematics and Math Education. He discovered his passion for helping students in Math during his high school years and has since gone on to be a successful classroom teacher in addition to tutoring at Mathnasium. Having worked with students of all ages, Will believes that Math is a dish best served with fun, and Mathnasium is the place for that!

Ronan

Instructor
Ronan is a student at Pine Lake Preparatory. He will graduate in 2025. He plans to go into mechanical engineering. He enjoys his job because the people are friendly, and he loves working with young kids and teaching them to love math like he does.

William

Instructor
Hello! My name is William, and I am a senior at Cannon School. A couple of years ago, I was a Mathnasium student seeking to advance a level in my math classes. I've loved math all my life and am majoring in engineering in college (I have not yet decided where). I am passionate about learning and how education transforms how we think and influences our outlook on life. I enjoy connecting with my students, and helping them think critically and conceptually about various mathematical topics in hopes of laying the foundation for their future personal and career pursuits!

Nic

Instructor
Nic is a senior at Pine Lake Preparatory, and he is hoping to pursue his bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Elon University this fall. Nic discovered his passion for Math as a student at Mathnasium. Nic has come from a long line of educators and hopes to share his love of mathematics and his excitement to learn through his instruction.

Indu

Instructor
Indu is a junior at South Iredell High School. Math has always been her favorite subject throughout her education due to its versatility and applicability in the real world. She enjoys learning new math concepts and helping others gain a passion for the subject. At Mathnasium, Indu is dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment to help students develop confidence in their math skills.
