Nancy Bugwadia

Co-Owner/COO
After working in the healthcare industry for over 30 years, Nancy was excited by the parallels with healthcare and teaching in bringing compassion and community engagement. Though she has helped with both the Mathnasium of Mountain View-Los Altos and Mathnasium of Campbell-Los Gatos Centers from their inception, she decided to join the Centers full-time in June 2022. Nancy has created partnerships with Parent Leadership Organizations and hosted Math Nights in several local schools. She brings the fun factor to the Centers! Nancy holds a BS in Microbiology and an MS in Clinical Nutrition and is also a Registered Dietitian. She loves spending time with family and friends as well as cooking, gardening, and reading.

Gordon Liang

Assistant Center Director
Gordon has been part of the Mathnasium of Mountain-View Los Altos team since 2016. He has risen through the ranks of starting as an Instructor and currently serves as the Assistant Center Director. He continues to enjoy teaching students and helping them solve complex problems by finding connections to math they already understand. He likes Mathnasium’s approach of tailoring the curriculum to each individual and instructing on a personal level, allowing him to easily see a student’s growth as time goes on.

Cassidy Acosta

Assistant Center Manager
Cassidy became a part of the Mathnasium of Mountain View-Los Altos team in October 2021. She has a BA in Theatre Arts from UC Santa Barbara and has experience working with children of a variety of ages and abilities. She was worked in tutoring and childcare for 4+ years and is passionate about helping students achieve their goals. Cassidy loves that Mathnasium provides such a customized approach to learning and is excited to continue helping students build their confidence in math!

Matt Uffenheimer

Assistant Center Manager
Matt first began as an Instructor at Mathnasium while in high school. He then went to UC Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelors in pure math. Matt joined the Mathnasium of Mountain View-Los Altos team in November of 2020. He has loved math ever since he was young, and it brings him a lot of joy to now help the next generation of mathematicians come to fruition.

Amy Bugwadia

Consultant
Amy has been involved in Mathnasium for over a decade, through her family's Mathnasium Centers in Mountain View-Los Altos and Campbell-Los Gatos. She previously served as Center Manager for the Mountain View-Los Altos Center, and although she is currently a medical student at Stanford, she is excited to still involved in the behind-the-scenes strategic and educational planning. From everything from instructing to running the day-to-day operations, she has seen firsthand the incredible impact that Mathnasium can make in the lives of students and staff alike. Throughout her time in undergraduate and graduate school, Amy has taught in a variety of different settings, from classrooms to clinics, and worked with a range of students, from 18-month-olds to graduate students. She loves the dynamic, personalized environment at Mathnasium, where all students (no matter what their current math abilities or confidence) are equipped with the tools, encouragement, and motivation to succeed!
