Second Mathnasium of Mukilteo Student of the Month Plaque Is Filled

Our second Student of the Month plaque has been filled! Congratulations to all 12 students who have earned the award over the past 12+ months! All 12 students have done an excellent job, put in great effort to learn, and have shown us great work ethics and attitude! They are truly a good role model for all! We are very proud of them! :D
The Student of the Month is nominated and voted by the instructor team each month using the following criteria:
Student of the Month Criteria
- Attendance – regular, consistent attendance
- Attitude – overall positive attitude toward attending Mathnasium sessions
- Work Ethic – must be willing to work on your math skills and knowledge
- Improvement – must have seen some improvement whether in math skills or attitude in attending Mathnasium or attitude toward math in general
- Respectful – student listens to the instructors and treats them as well as other students with respect
- Self-advocate – student asks questions and shows a desire to learn more
Recognition & Awards:
- Name engraved on the Student of the Month plaque at Mathnasium of Mukilteo
- $10 gift card
- Certificate
- Photo on Website and/or Social Media sites

My daughter enjoys attending Mathnasium. I can see her progress and confidence in her math skills are growing all the time. She likes the tutors and there are fun prizes and incentives for being consistent in her work. The owner, Betty, has always been very helpful and responsive whenever I've had a concern or needed help with scheduling. I would highly recommend Mathnasium if you are looking for support in math skills, either for catching up or just for getting extra support outside of school.

MATHNASIUM has helped our daughter in so many ways. Building her confidence back in Math and into learning new things, whether it’s on Math or different matter. They really made sure that they go back to basics and made sure her foundation is secure before moving forward into an advance level. Thank you so much for all your help. I like that my child enjoys being there. Betty and her staff make my son feel welcomed he is shy at times. I appreciated their diligence with Covid screening. I like that my child is safe, they always walk him out to my car and make eye contact with me so I know he's around the car. Most of all I like that he is starting to enjoy math which has never been the case prior to Mathmasium.

I appreciate the positive attitude of the staff. I like that the program takes time to make sure students have a firm grasp on all math concepts, however, there are some units (that seemed too easy) that I wish we could have gone through faster in the beginning. Overall, we are very happy with the program. I like that the material is varied and presented in a way that doesn't appear too intimidating or boring for the kids. The punch card and prizes are also good motivators. Thank you!

Amazing service! My daughter used to have many difficulties doing math, but now she is much more confident and is getting much better grades. They focus on the students weakness and build a firm foundation so the student understands and remembers what they learnt. During covid, they followed all regulations and made us feel safe when going there. This is the place where all children should go for tutoring! We are very happy with their service!

My 10 year old Son has never been confident in math. Last fall he received 17% on a 5th grade math test. We were referred by a friend to Mathnasium and it was one of the best decisions we have made for our Son academically. He received 90% on his last 5tg grade math test and his confidence has skyrocketed! This newfound confidence is seeping into every aspect of his schooling and he is blossoming. He absolutely loves the tutors as Mathnasium and looks forward to going!

All tutor teachers are nice and helpful to my daughter. Also they willing to take extra minutes to make sure my daughter get the assignment done even already passed the time. My daughter math has improved. She always happy and excited to go this tutor place. Regards to scheduling. They are flexible with our schedule. No issue at all to change the time when needed to.

Distancing is well followed and safety is amazing! My daughter is making significant progress in class, and her grades were raised ever since she started coming here. I would definitely recommend Mathnasium to everyone, wether they are already advanced or need help since there’s something for everyone, and every grade level.

We enrolled our daughter during the first week the center has re-opened from shutdown. Their new protocol & extra precautions has made us confident to do an in person sessions. Our daughter has been struggling with Math but MATHNASIUM has helped a lot building her confidence learning and understanding math. She’s happy after every session and has been setting goals to achieve. Ms.Betty and all the staff is very welcoming, friendly, and has been very helpful. Our daughter enjoyed every moment at this center. Thank you for making MATH fun and exciting for her.

Our daughter previously tried a different math program and didn't like it. She prefers and enjoys Mathnasium due to these factors: instructors are friendly and engaging, my daughter is challenged with the correct level of difficulty exercises, and the online program allows her to engage without feeling lost among other students.

The Mathnasium of Mukilteo gave me the confidence to understand math, and actually learn math!! The way they teach me help with my math, and make my grades go from a -B to an A. High school math is extremely difficult, but here they teach you techniques that you might have never learned before! I really love this Mathnasium, and I 💯% recommend it. In a very short period of time our son has gained confidence in math. He no longer complains and avoids doing his homework. Instead he sits down, gets to work and asks for help only when he needs it. The staff at Mathnasium of Mukilteo has been great. My son was very nervous to have a tutor and that he would feel dumb, but he has enjoyed the people he works with and they have been so kind and encouraging. His confidence has increased. He has solidified older skills while being able to more thoroughly learn new skills. We are very happy with our experience!
