Very professional staff: my questions are answered right away. A lot of communication from the staff. The staff is very understanding of kids' and families schedules. My son loves attending Mathnasium: he feels very comfortable and well supported. I often have to wait for him because he is so engaged in what he is working on which is such a great sign. Mathnasium has been teaching him topics that his school has not or does not cover which makes me happy because it is making him look at Math and numbers in a diverse way which will help him in the long run when he has to sit for standardized testing. I really appreciate this business: it is ethical, professional, clean, follows all of the rules, effective, fun. We are so lucky to Mathnasium in our neighborhood. Thank you!

Our first six months were a struggle and progress was really slow. My daughter was in fourth grade but at a second grade level. Her confidence slowly improved and she caught up to grade level after about a year of Mathnasium. Once she had the confidence and wanted to go to Mathnasium, she improved quicker. I recommend to others but also give the caveat that the child needs to want to go to the sessions. During our first six months, she often did not want to go and that showed in her slow progress. Student buy-in is key to success.

We love Mathnasium! This has been a year of so much uncertainty and change for our daughter and Mathnasium has remained a constant. We have been able to do all virtual lessons as that is what works for our family right now. I know She misses the teachers at our center so much and we hope to get back soon. Delia has managed to have an A in Math every semester of this pandemic and I know Mathnasium has a lot to do with that!

Mathnasium Carlsbad is awesome. The staff members: math coaches and owner are so professional, nice, and encouraging. The owner and manager, Kristen took so much time and interest in my son to make sure we all felt comfortable and well informed with what we were signing up for. My son who is shy, felt so excited and happy attended Mathnasium and always said he had so much fun there. In just a few short months, he advanced tremendously in Math. I am impressed and feel so fortunate we have a local Mathnasium here in Carlsbad!

Mathnasium helps my child so much. The online transition is very difficult though. I have lost hundreds of dollars in tutoring costs that have resulted in missed tutoring due to the refund policy and online format. Normally, you go in for tutoring when your ready. Now, you have to schedule an appointment far in advance; and if you miss it, you lose your money and there is NO flexibility to extend a session by even a minute. On top of that, my son literally completes half the amount of work he would in an in- person session. I will have to find another solution to the problems on-line tutoring is presenting because it simply is not as valuable.

Our Daughter has flourished at Mathnasium. We call it her happy place. The instructors are top notch and make it feel like home everyone we are there. Our daughter had fallen Behind in Math and needed a confidence boost. Math is now her favorite subject and she received a 4.0 after her first semester of middle school!

I highly recommend mathnasium, wether for enrichment or improvement, My daughter she looks forward to go, great staff, well trained and professional, have spoken to other parents that have been taking their kids there for longer period and they are happy and been seeing improvement and confident in their kids math skills.
