My 9 year old daughter has been enrolled at Mathnasium of Northeast Seattle since 2021. Our goal was to figure out which tools she needed in her Math toolbox to help her feel more confident and capable. Andrea Ma and her team of amazing teaching staff have definitely made that happen for my daughter. The entire team creates a fun, supportive, and positive learning environment. They know how to challenge my daughter in an encouraging way to help build those problem solving skills. And most of all, my daughter looked forward to each session!

Our 5th grade twins both love going to mathnasium. We started in spring of their 4th grade year for one twin and the other one who was already feeling confident in math got jealous and wanted to go too so now both go twice a week and love it. I really appreciate the management working to make a plan that meets our needs with two visits per week on average rather than paying for 3 visits per week but only being able to go twice a week. After informing them of my concerns and needs and what other mathnasium places offered they worked hard to create more flexible plans and I greatly appreciate that.

My two grandchildren eagerly look forward to going to Mathnasium. My granddaughter is in 5th grade and has attended Mathnasium for 4 years now. My grandson is a second grader and has been with Mathnasium for a year. This Program has absolutely helped to build my shy grandson’s skills and has uplifted and boosted his confidence in knowing he’s great at Math and has helped to motivate him to speak up more in class. In his first two days of School this year, his teacher let us know he’s an active participant in class and solved the Math Challenge of the Day. What a great start!
I highly recommend Mathnasium to the student who might be struggling with Math, as well as to the student who is excelling in Math. Instruction and support are tailored to meet each child’s individual needs. Consistency and regular attendance will help your child. Thank you Mathnasium Team!

Taylor at Mathnasium on 65th (in Seattle) has provided excellent customer service and support. Major praise to Taylor and her team.
It would be incredibly helpful to get the cost of Mathnasium down especially for families that would like to have more than one child attend. Also, expanding hours and providing a little more one-on-one time (instead of instructors jumping around) during each online session would be appreciated.
Overall, it has increased our daughter's confidence and skills greatly.

Our daughter, a middle-schooler, went to Mathnasium first and had a great experience there, she gained confidence in math, and now really likes the subject. We recently sent our son, who is in second grade, to Mathnasium and we can already see how his math skills are improving. He looks forward to going to Mathnasium and tells us he is learning a lot.

We definitely utilized Mathnasium when one of my girls skipped a math level between elementary and middle school but encountered difficulty with the missed instruction. She and her sister, who was not having difficulties, both enjoyed their time at Mathnasium and the girls got very far AHEAD, setting them up for a comfortable 7th grade year. When Covid-19 kept schools closed for their 8th grade year, Algebra 1, both girls experienced immense difficulty and asked to return to Mathnasium. It was the best decision! The girls both got caught up and have become some of the stronger students in their class. More importantly, they feel confident, and are looking forward to starting their high school years, and Geometry.

My daughter was starting to say things like "I hate math" and "math is too hard" after a year of remote learning due to a year long school closure from covid in our area. A friend had recommended Mathnasium before my daughter ever said these things but I didn't see a need for it at that time. Once my daughter was hating math I decided I needed to do something about it and contacted Mathnasium for an assessment and the reward system immediately intrigued my 9 year old so we signed up and within a few weeks she said "I love math" and "I'm good at math" which warmed my heart. Thank you Mathnasium! I just wish every family had this opportunity.

My granddaughter is beginning her 4th year with Mathnasium. She gets to share what she’s been learning in school. She gets the opportunity to further build, deepen and enhance her learning. This helps to build and promote her confidence as she claims being a Mathematician. My grandson has just begun to attend Mathnasium. He has anxiously wanted to go since his sister started. He especially likes the challenge of the problem of the week. Individualized attention for one hour is a big part of the program that adults appreciate for their children. The Mathnasium Team is always patient, encouraging and supportive. The staff is knowledgeable and can relate to the children and their work. Thanks Mathnasium! We had stopped participating during challenging Covid time but could see my granddaughter needed to return to get additional practice and motivation for a concentrated period of time.

We have found that Mathnasium is an ideal supplement to our daughters school curriculum. At times it acts as a revision and reinforcement of school learning and other times establishing a preview of work not yet covered. In both cases any impediments to her grasp of the subject are identified and corrected early.

Mathnasium has surpassed my expectations! I wanted my daughter to get more comfortable with math and increase her self confidence. This has completely happened. My son has benefitted greatly from the Mathnasium classes. He is becoming more confident in math and this is helping him gain confidence in other areas. The instructors have been great and he is learning a lot. He did not want to do these classes but now enjoys then and actually talks to me about what he is learning.

Our daughter has low self efficacy in math and after doing sessions a few time and then having to stop due to COVID, I was surprised to hear that she wanted to start back up when this was offered. She said likes the reward type model they use and she feels it helps her. Hooray all around! This is a model that appeals to even the ones that are tough to reach. We also feel a true sense of caring and empathy with the team at Mathnasium. Thank you!

Mathnasium is the perfect fit for what we are wanting to accomplish with our daughter. To reinforce and supplement what's being taught in school, identify and rectify small problems before they become major issues and to expose her to the level of math that allows her to reach her full potential.

We love Mathnasium. I homeschooled my daughter for a while, and Mathnasium was our primary math program. I remain on homeschooling list serves and social media pages; and I've already recommended Mathnasium in some Seattle groups. Mathnasium repairs my daughter's holes in math learning going back to elementary school, but also launched her forward to be advanced in math. It's nice that she is ahead now; but what I really like is that she is competent and confident in her math abilities. She's not intimidated by math, and she helps other students now that she is back in school. She sometimes has a Mathnasium approach to a problem which more clearly explains a concept to her struggling peers.

My granddaughter looks forward to coming to the program each week. She’s always eager to be there. Her trust and confidence in the program are assurances that she’s happily learning. I like the energy and high enthusiasm of the owners and the staff. They are always welcoming. I like the fact that each child gets an hour of individualized instruction and support. The Team is open to feedback from the child’s school and family. They will adjust and tailor skills and activities to meet the child’s needs and to promote and enhance that child’s learning. I like being regularly informed about my granddaughter’s progress since I’m the one that takes her there, and also getting samples of her work. Her parents appreciate getting the online reports of her progress. I also like the flexibility in being able to choose the days and time for attending.
