Roosevelt Square - Storm Line Replacement

Sep 12, 2020 | Northeast Seattle

Beginning Tuesday, September 15th, construction will commence to replace the storm line that is located under Roosevelt Way on the West side of the Roosevelt Square building.  The line has become blocked by tree roots and is unable to drain which has created flooding in parts of the building.  This project will take 2 to 3 weeks to complete and they will need to take traffic down to 1 lane on Roosevelt Way while they are working from 9am-3pm each day. The picture shows how the lane closure will look each day, by 3pm they will put metal covers down and open that lane back up for peak traffic hours.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to parking and traffic but it is necessary for the safety of the building.
